Tom Brady Makes Catwalk Debut at Gucci Show in All-Black Leather — and the Internet Had Thoughts

Tom Brady walked the Gucci Resort 2027 runway in Times Square Saturday night wearing head-to-toe black leather, drawing playful mockery online and sharing the outdoor catwalk with Lewis Hamilton, Paris Hilton, and Cindy Crawford.

Super Bowl champion. Fox Sports broadcaster. Las Vegas Raiders minority owner. And now, Gucci model. Tom Brady, 48, made his catwalk debut Saturday at the Gucci Resort 2027 collection show held outdoors in Times Square in New York City, strutting down the runway in an all-black leather ensemble that immediately became the subject of intense online commentary.

The look: black leather pants, black leather jacket, black shirt, matching shoes. Brady wore his signature smirk and deployed the confident walk of a man who has stood in far higher-pressure situations than a fashion runway. Whether that confidence translated into actual runway technique was a matter some observers debated with considerable enthusiasm. Vogue Magazine fans in the comments compared his gait to RoboCop and the Tin Man, neither of which is typically considered a compliment in fashion circles.

Brady was not the only sports crossover name on the runway. Lewis Hamilton, the Formula 1 champion who has been building his presence in the fashion world for several years, also walked the show. Cindy Crawford closed the event. Paris Hilton and Emily Ratajkowski were among the other notable names who took a turn on the outdoor catwalk before the Times Square backdrop.

The front row was its own spectacle. Mariah Carey, Shawn Mendes, Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan, and Kaia Gerber were among those in attendance. Brady’s appearance capped off what was already a busy Saturday for a man who has managed his post-retirement public profile with the same deliberateness he once used to manage a two-minute drill.

Also spotted at the event was Alix Earle, the social media personality who was linked to Brady earlier this year after the two were seen together at a Super Bowl party in February. The pair have not publicly confirmed a relationship, but Earle’s presence at an event where Brady was a featured walker did not go unnoticed by the tabloid ecosystem tracking their every proximity.

Brady’s catwalk turn is the latest in a series of post-NFL moves that suggest he is actively experimenting with where his profile can travel now that game days are behind him. The broadcasting career is established. The minority ownership stake is in place. Fashion, apparently, was the next frontier. The leather jacket has been broken in. Whether he gets invited back is Gucci’s call.
