Following an 11-month undercover investigation, the Wilmette Police Department announced Wednesday, Dec. 18, it had made arrests in a “sophisticated” retail theft fencing operation that resulted in the recovery of an estimated $2 million worth of retail products and evidence, as reported by our sister paper The Wilmette Beacon.
