The Glenview Police Department recently received a donation of 240 N95 masks from Astellas to help protect them against the spread of coronavirus while serving the community.

The Northbrook-based pharmaceutical company said Friday, March 27, in a Facebook post that it was “proud” to donate the masks, which have been in short supply since the outbreak of COVID-19.

“Thank you to all first responders and health care workers putting their own lives at risk in helping to keep us safe,” the company’s post reads.
