Paul Thomas, who served in a number of local government roles including Glenview Village president, died Sunday morning at the age of 97.

Thomas served as Village president from 1967-73 and oversaw the Village’s annexation of Naval Air Station Glenview in 1971. The Naval Air Station was redeveloped into The Glen Town Center after its closure in 1995.
