A pair of Glenview natives were selected on the final day of the MLB Draft.

Fitz Stadler — the Titans’ ace right-hander who just weeks ago helped lead Glenbrook South to a regional championship — and Luke Harrison — a 2011 GBS graduate who went on to pitch at Indiana University — were both drafted on June 11.

Stadler was chosen with the 953rd pick in the 32nd round by the Chicago Cubs, while Harrison went three rounds later with the 1,061st overall selection to the St. Louis Cardinals.
