Following the decision by Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker to shut down dine-in operations for restaurants and bars statewide in an attempt to slow the spread of the coronavirus, Glenview officials are encouraging residents to continue supporting their local eateries.

Residents can support local restaurants in several ways, including ordering for delivery or pick-up and by visiting restaurants that have drive-thrus and curbside pick-up services.

The Glenview Chamber of Commerce is encouraging resident to make Thursday “Takeout Glenview Night” by placing pickup or delivery orders or buying gift cards to use later.
